Charles Hughes was born 29 November 1892 at  Lifford Castlefin Co Donegal. Charles served in both World Wars. I believe he joined the Royal Army Service Corps with his brother John during the First world War. For the most part he lived at 72 James St, Shankill Road, Belfast.
Research at Kew have failed to uncover Charles First world War records and we must assume they were destroyed during the Blitz

Charles married Letitia French Waterworth on
9 July 1912. At Holy Trinity Belfast.
They had eleven children.
